DMCA & Copyright Policy
Tixdoor respects the intellectual property rights of creators, artists, and event producers. We promptly investigate and respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") and global intellectual property laws.
1. Submitting a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that your copyrighted work (such as promotional artwork, photography, event logos, video trailers, or music) has been uploaded or used in an event listing on Tixdoor without authorization, please provide our Designated Copyright Agent with a written notice containing all of the following statutory elements:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright holder or authorized representative.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (including URLs or descriptions).
- The exact URL(s) on Tixdoor containing the allegedly infringing material.
- Your contact details, including full name, physical mailing address, phone number, and email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notification is accurate.
2. Counter-Notification Procedure
If an event organizer believes their material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, they may submit a formal Counter-Notification to our agent. The counter-notice must include the organizer's contact details, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury consenting to jurisdiction, and their signature.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, Tixdoor will forward it to the original complaining party. If the copyright owner does not file a legal action seeking a court order within 10-14 business days, the material may be restored.
3. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA, Tixdoor maintains a strict policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, the accounts of organizers or users who are deemed to be repeat copyright infringers.
